After a break-in the priority is making the property secure tonight, not perfect by Friday. We repair or replace what was forced, rekey everything the intruder could have taken keys to, and where a full repair needs materials we do not carry, we secure the opening properly first and come back to finish.

What should I do before you arrive?
Call the police first and get a report number — insurers ask for it. Photograph the damage before anything is moved or cleaned, and try not to touch the entry point. Then we can start.
Why rekey if only the door was forced?
Because you cannot know what else was taken. If a spare key, a car key or a keyring went missing in the same visit, the lock we just repaired is the least of it.
Can you provide something for my insurer?
Yes — an itemised report of what was damaged and what was repaired, with photographs. Ask for it when you book so we document as we go rather than reconstructing afterwards.
